X Factor's Louis Walsh says Strictly Come Dancing is the 'warm up' show

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has been hitting out Strictly Come Dancing again.

The Irish music mogul joked that the rival was simply the "warm up act" for the ITV1 series on Saturday nights.

The two shows will both air live tonight for the same time this year, and all eyes will be on tomorrow morning's ratings reports to see who got the most viewers.

Continuing his war of words with Bruice, Louis said: "Strictly is like a warm-up act for the X Factor, with a very old frontman."

He quipped: "I don't think you'll see me on television when I'm 84. Andy Williams has just died and he's 84."

However Strictly celeb Nicky Byrne claimed that former manager Louis secretly loves the BBC series.

“It’ll be fun,” Nicky said. “I actually spoke to Louis last night and he was saying Strictly is brilliant.”

The Strictly Come Dancing live shows continue this evening on BBC One with the remaining celebs giving their first dance after last night's first live show.
