Johnny Ball's new Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Iveta Lukosiute has described working with the telly star as "amazing"
Lithuanian dance champ Iveta was called in at the last minute to dance with Johnny, after his original partner Aliona fractured her ankle in rehearsals.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, Iveta explained: "I was getting ready for work and I received a phone call from the producers, and they asked me, 'What am I doing this week?'
"I was like, 'Yes I can do this, how soon?' [They said,] 'In two days'. [I replied,] 'OK, let's do this!"
She continued: "After the first phone call, I didn't know who I was going to dance with or what had happened," she explained.
"I haven't seen his shows in Lithuania, but I've seen lots of things he's done [since] and I've read all about him and I think he's amazing."
Meanwhile Johnny insisted that he didn't have any fault in Aliona's injury, which has ruled her out of the show for at least two weeks.
"I was static when it happened, so the papers stating I broke her leg are ludicrous," he said.
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 airs at 9PM on BBC One tonight (Friday) and continues at 6:30PM tomorrow (Saturday).
