One Strictly Come Dancing 2012 fan is so confident about Denise Van Outen winning, that they've placed a whopping £5,000 bet on her!
However despite the money wagers, it's Olympic star Louis Smith who remains the favourite to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing with odds of 9/4, having shortened in price from an original 5/1.
Denise Van Outen has attracted the biggest bet so far, with a Swindon based William Hill customer prepared to place a £5000 bet on the Essex girl.
“Louis is riding the Olympic wave but Denise will probably start as the best dancer and you can see why these two are attracting the big bets,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
Others tipped to do well in the competition include Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne and Olympian Victoria Pendleton.
However at the other end of the scale, former kids telly presenter Johnny Ball and Daybreak's showbiz host Richard Arnold have been tipped to become the first eliminees of the new series.
