Strictly Come Dancing professional Aliona Vilani will miss the first live show due to injury, it's been revealed today.
The 28-year-old performer suffered an injury to her foot in training with her celebrity partner [tag]Johnny Ball[/tag] earlier today.
After X-Rays, medics confirmed this evening that Aliona has suffered a hairline fracture in training, which will force the red haired beauty to rest.
The injury will rule Aliona out from performing for up to four weeks, meaning she could potentially miss the first two live shows.
It's unclear what this means for Johnny, who will likely still perform but with another pro dancer.
We're just wishing Aliona a speedy recovery!
The [cat]Strictly Come Dancing[/tag] live shows start on October 5 and 6, with all of the celebs performing over two nights.
Fortunately for the stars, there won't be any eliminations in week one, with their judges' scores being carried over to the second week.
