Poor Denise Van Outen has revealed she could be at a disadvantage when the Strictly Come Dancing live shows start next month.
The West End performer has had a tough time learning to dance in towering heels in a bid to match the height of her professional partner James Jordan.
"I feel that I’m at a slight disadvantage this week as my feet are so badly blistered due to dancing in heels, that I can’t even get my shoes on and I’m having to practice barefoot until they heal," Denise revealed in her personal blog this week.
However despite the injury (of sorts), Denise says she can't wait to dance on the live shows in jut a few weeks' time.
"Even so, I wouldn’t change a thing as I’m loving every minute of it!" she adds.
Calling on her fans for their support, the Legally Blonde star went on: "However, there are a lot of people in this year’s competition with huge fan bases, so I really need all the support that I can get, so I’m reaching out to all the hard working mums out there to pick up the phone and vote for me when the live shows begin as I really need your help, and with James’ guidance, hopefully I can show that this Mum can strut her stuff every Saturday night!"
The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 live shows start on October 5 on BBC One.
