So far the celebrity stars have only appeared in last Saturday's pre-recorded launch, but from next month there will be no time for second chances.
The celebs have been in training since finding out their partners last week, and have just two more weeks left before their first live dance.
"It's pretty scary, we're all pretending to dance [so far] because we didn't have time to know what we're doing [on the launch show]," Victoria admitted today.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the Olympic gold medalist claimed that her fitness was actually working against her on the dance floor.
"It's very challenging, physically not so much but my feet don't bend the way they're supposed to after years of cycling," she said.
Victoria added: "I'm hoping that I'll wake up one morning and I'll be 'Yes, I remember it now!"
The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 live shows will start on October 5 and 6, with the celebrities dancing either a Waltz or Cha-Cha-Cha.
Fortunately for them, no celebrities will be booted out in the first week, with their scores being carried over to week two.
