Tweeting from rehearsals yesterday with her professional partner Brendan Cole, Victoria admitted: "Day 2 feet are so sore! no coordination and struggling to stand on tiptoes for more than a few sec!"
However she added: "But LOVING it! thanks @TheBrendan_Cole"
Despite being fit enough to win a number of gold medals in various Olympic games, including London 2012 earlier this year, Victoria insisted she didn't really have any advantage over her rivals.
She said: "I don't know if my leg muscles will help for dancing, to be honest. I think I'm fit enough to deal with the training - the choreography will be the hard part."
Victoria, who retired from professional cycling in order to compete in Strictly, admitted: "I actually woke up last night trying t remember my steps!
"And standing up straight is a challenge when all you want to do is watch you're feet. I'll be happier when I've got routine back in my life, so I'm looking forward to this new challenge."
