Kimberley Walsh has insisted that Strictly Come Dancing won't stop Girls Aloud from getting back together!

The group, who were formed on a reality telly show ten years ago this November, are rumoured to be reuniting before Christmas.

There have been talks of an arena tour and even a performance on the Royal Variety show, and Strictly won't be getting in the way!

Kimberley, who was partnered with professional dancer Pasha Kovalev on Saturday night's launch show, said: "It won't hold up anything that we've already planned!

"We might be back together by Christmas... I'm not saying anything, I'll get in trouble!"

The popstar also revealed how her Girls Aloud bandmates had talked her into the show: "Cheryl and Nicola were like 'You should do it, you'd be in your element' so here I am!

"They will be coming to watch and support me, so that will be good."

Kimberley also claimed that she was looking forward to getting even more toned thanks to the show.

"I didn't know I was doing Strictly until a few weeks ago, so I've not had time to do extra training," said the already fit singer.

She added: "I think this will be a good workout - everyone says you get so toned."

The Strictly Come Dancing live shows start on October 5 on BBC One.
