Michael Vaughan has yet to spend more than a second training for Strictly Come Dancing 2012, it has been revealed.
The former England cricket captain has decided to delay rehearsals for the first live show in order to attend work commitments in Scotland.
However Michael's lack of dedication to the show hasn't pleased his professional dance partner Natalie Lowe, who is reportedly keen to impress Strictly bosses after it was revealed they're looking to replace her!
According to The Sun, producers will be 'testing' some new professional dancers during this year's series for next year's run, and all of the current professionals are keen to show off their best moves.
A show insider told the newspaper this morning: “Michael didn’t want to cancel the events he had planned, so he will be lagging behind most of his rivals as far as training is concerned.
“He doesn’t seem too worried about the delay, but Natalie is disappointed they couldn’t start sooner. She is very competitive and wants to win.
The source added: “She also feels there is more pressure this year because the bosses are trying out two American pro dancers – Lacey Schwimmer and Mark Ballas.”
The two potential new pros will be helping to choreograph routines, as well as performing alongside special guest stars such as Katherine Jenkins during the results shows.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 live shows start on October 5.
