Kimberley Walsh has revealed that Cheryl Cole has been coaching her for the Strictly Come Dancing live shows!
Girls Aloud star Kimberley has been getting tips from bandmate Cheryl, who used to be a ballet and ballroom dancer before turning to music.
Speaking ahead of tonight's Strictly launch show, Kimberley said: “Cheryl’s never been asked to do Strictly but she wouldn’t be allowed — she’s too good.
“She has been helping me with some steps. I asked her to show me an absolutely basic waltz, but even then I forgot after about five minutes.
“If I’m struggling with my routines she’ll be able to give me some SOS lessons.”
The 30-year-old explained she had previously turned down the show twice before, because she was too nervous about going onto a stage by herself after 10 years with the group.
But she told The Sun today: “Doing Shrek The Musical also helped me to get over my fears of being on my own on stage.
“I’m quite confident performing with the girls because there is safety in numbers.
“But going out there with your partner is daunting. There are no distractions, it’s just you. That’s why I really want to conquer this challenge.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 airs tonight at 6:30PM on BBC One.
