The Strictly Come Dancing 2012 studios were left ransacked this week, ahead of the show's launch.
According to The Sun, thieves managed to break in to the show's make up room during the recording of tomorrow night's launch show on Wednesday night.
The newspaper report that cash, phones and plenty of make up was pinched from backstage before making a clean getaway.
A source told the newspaper this morning: “People come in and out of that room all the time. Everyone knows each other so they leave valuables lying around.
“The room was full of purses, mobiles and make-up, all of which went. Whoever did it must know what a treasure trove it can be.”
Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing host Sir Bruce Forsyth has reignited his war with X Factor judge Louis Walsh.
“I never said Louis Walsh was a karaoke judge – that was a reader. Then he said I should be dead," the Striclty presenter said. “He apologised – but then did an interview with the Radio Times and said it all again.
“And he said, ‘I’m not sure I can do another X Factor.’ Well, he can always make a comeback – because he hasn’t been anywhere.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2012 begins tomorrow night on BBC One.
