Olympic gold medalist Victoria Pendleton has confirmed she will be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2012.
Speaking to the BBC, Victoria confirmed she had retired from competitive cycling and would be appearing in Strictly this autumn.
Victoria has previously said she can't wait to swap her "sweaty Lyrca" for some glitzy ballroom dresses.
"I can’t dance and I’ve always wanted to be able to, so I’d really enjoy that. Plus, I’ve been in sweaty Lycra for the last I don’t know how many years, so being in a sparkly frock and high heels really appeals to me," Victoria said this month.
She added: "Instead of wearing a helmet it will be lovely to have my hair smooth and sleek. I’m really into my beauty products, it’s been my one indulgence. I haven’t been able to drink and don’t go out so tottering around the beauty counter is the only way I’ve rewarded myself."
Victoria is expected to be joined by fellow London 2012 Team GB medalist Louis Smith on the show this year, although they'll be the only two Olympians on the show.
Beeb bosses have so far revealed that Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer, Daybreak presenter Richard Arnold and Westlife singer Nicky Byrne are all on the line up.
And at the weekend Kimberley Walsh became the latest star to be confirmed as one of this year's Strictly Come Dancing celebrities!
Other celebs rumoured to be on the line up this year include West End singer Denise Van Outen, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, Eastenders actor Sid Owen and telly presenter Fern Britton.
The Strictly Come Dancing line up will be fully confirmed in the next two days, ahead of the launch show on Saturday night on BBC One, where the stars will find out their partners!
