Strictly Come Dancing

Former Emmerdale star Lisa Riley has become the latest name linked to Strictly Come Dancing, with the actress reportedly training for eight hours a day!

The 36-year-old has been trying to shift the pounds in a bid to improve her footwork when it comes to the live shows next month.

"Viewers will see a real transformation in her if she tones up," a source said today. "She has the potential to go on a real journey if soap fans get behind her."

The insider added to the Daily Mirror: "Someone who has seen her says she can do the splits so will be more flexible than people realise.”

Lisa, known for playing Mandy Dingle for six years in ITV1's Emmerdale, is rumoured to be partnered with Vincent Simone in a "cheeky twist" by the show's producers!

Other stars rumoured to be on the line up this year include Denise Van Outen Olympian Victoria Pendleton and telly presenter Fern Britton.

Bosses have begun to confirm some of the names, with Dani Harmer and Nicky Byrne amongst those confirmed on the line up Strictly Come Dancing 2012 celebrities so far.

The Strictly Come Dancing launch show will air next Saturday from 6:30PM, where the celebrities will find out which dancers they've been partnered with.

They'll then have three weeks worth of training before the first live shows kick off on October 5.
