Olympic gymnastic star Louis Smith is reportedly in negotiations to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 line up.
The hunky athlete won a silver medal on the pommel horse at the London 2012 games earlier this summer, and is now preparing to compete for the Strictly glitter ball.
The 23-year-old had previously auditioned for Strictly's rival show The X Factor, before deciding to pursue gymnastics after being rejected.
The Daily Mail reports that bosses hope Louis could repeat the success of last year's winner Harry Judd from McFly.
A source told the newspaper this morning: "Harry was such a success we want to book someone with the muscles to match.
"The fact Louis is an Olympic medal winner makes it even better."
Other stars lined up for the upcoming series include former Westlife star Nicky Byrne and Louis' fellow Olympic stars Sir Steve Redgrave and Victoria Pendleton, together with cricketer Michael Vaughan.
Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, model Jerry Hall, presenter Sian Williams and presenter Fern Britton are also all lined up for the new series.
The Daily Mail also report that this year's Strictly could see the return of the dance off, allowing the judges to save one of the pairs of dancers in the bottom two.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month on September 15. The line up will be confirmed in due course.
