Ballet star Darcey Bussell has been having dance classes in a bid to bring her up to speed for Strictly Come Dancing 2012.
The dancer wants to make sure she knows what she's talking about when it comes to critcising the celebrities this autumn!
“I said straight away that I want to do some professional classes," the 43-year-old told the Daily Star newspaper today. "I love learning different styles of dance."
She explained to the tabloid this morning: “I got to do a jive recently and it’s amazing how quickly you pick up small techniques and detail.
“That’s been my life, learning from choreographers. It’s great to learn their technique.”
Darcey also revealed how joining the BBC One series has meant moving her whole family from Australia, where she and husband Angus Forbes relocated to in 2008.
She added: “But what a show to do it for! I love Strictly.”
Meanwhile it was reported this morning that Kimberley Walsh is set to join the Strictly Come Dancing line up this year, along with Nicky Byrne from Westlife, cricketer Michael Vaughan and Olympic stars cyclist Victoria Pendleton and rower Sir Steve Redgrave.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month. The line up will be confirmed in due course.
