Olympic gold medalist Mark Hunter has revealed he hopes to join the Strictly Come Dancing line up this year.
The rower, who defended his gold medal at the London games earlier this month, said he had already been offered other reality shows.
“I have had one or two offers of reality shows but none of them really appeal to me at all, although other shows do," he said.
Mark told The Sun today: “There are some that show people in the right way and others where it is just people trying to make a name for themselves. I don’t watch those and I wouldn’t want to go on them.”
He added: “But I really enjoy the dancing ones — they are amazing.”
Mark explained how he was looking forward to taking some time off after the games.
"I am going to take a few months off after the Olympics," he said. “I want to do other things, I want to play football with my friends, go skiing and do some other activities."
A number of other Olympic champs, including cyclist Victoria Pendleton and gymnast Beth Tweddle, are also rumoured to be amongst this year's stars.
