E4's Stage School fans want a second series after spectacular finale

Fans of E4 Stage School have called on the show to get a second series after last night's finale.

It makes quite a change from the demands for the show to be AXED made this time a month ago.

The mega 30 part 'structured reality' series had faced a petition signed by thousands to be canned.

But after its debut run came to a close last night, many wanted more.

#STAGESCHOOLseries2 began to trend on Twitter as fans asked for a return next year.

"Hoping there is #STAGESCHOOLseries2," one viewer wrote.

Another added: "Waiting for @E4StageSchool can't believe its the last episode I'm going to miss all the drama and the sass #STAGESCHOOL"

And the official Stage School Twitter teased: "That's your lot folks, thankyou SO much for watching! See you next term? 😉 💖#STAGESCHOOL💖"

Not too surprisingly, Stage School came to quite a dramatic end on Friday evening.

Josh found himself on the verge of being expelled from the performing acts academy after causing mischief at prom, while Jordi revealed plans to join the school next year.

Following multiple audition knock backs, Durone won a role in the new West End production of musical Dreamgirls.

Meanwhile, Megan battled with her feelings for Casey as he and clashed with girlfriend Betsy-Blue after Josh's stirring.
