Splash! returned to ITV last night for a new series with over 5 million viewers watching.
A peak audience of 5.5 million tuned in for a first heat as five new celebs plunged into the poor under Tom Daley's coaching.
The average audience was just slightly under 5 million viewers, down not only on last year's launch but also on every other episode from the first series.
It meant that the BBC One won the night with its Pointless Celebrities special being watched by 5.9 million.
Over 3 million viewers tuned in for Friday night's launch show, which saw twelve new star housemates enter the house.
The show peaked at just 2 million viewers, with an average audience of 1.86 million over the 10PM hour, almost 1.5 million down on Friday's live show.
It's also down on the 2 million and 2.4 million figures of the first highlights shows form 2013 and 2012 respectively, and also down on the numbers for the first Saturday highlights episodes in 2012 and 2013 too.
But airing at 10PM probably didn't help it, with the show going out at 9PM on Channel 5 tonight.
