Eastenders actor Ricky Groves has become the latest celeb to hurt themselves in training for Splash 2014.
The soap star will be one of the first celebrities to dive live on air this weekend, as the second series kicks off on Saturday night.
Ricky revealed this week that he had a very nasty dive that left him nursing his so-called "knacker fat".
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper today: “The other day I hit my ‘knacker fat’ - that little bulge just above your bits. God, it was painful! If you hit the water the wrong way, you know about it.”
But despite the pain, Ricky is determined to continue on and hopes to pluck up the courage to jump from the highest, 10-metre board.
He said: “I like learning something different, which is why I did Strictly Come Dancing in 2009 when I was thrilled to get to week ten.
"Diving is the hardest sport I have ever done, and that includes skiing and snowboarding. When you look down over the edge of the board. it’s terrifying.”
Splash! 2014 will start this Saturday night with its first live show.
Competing in the first heat alongside Ricky will be Diversity star Perri Kiely, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins, TV presenter Michaela Strachan, and Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna
