Splash! 2014 will kick off on ITV on January 4, host Tom Daley has announced.
Olympic Bronze medal and British and European Championship winner Tom will be returning for series two, to once again challenge some of the nation’s favourite faces to learn one of sport’s most difficult disciplines on primetime ITV.
And speaking on Jonathan Ross last week, Tom confirmed that the show would be starting on the first Saturday of January in just three weeks' time.
This year's line up of celebs haven't been confirmed, but some stars have been papped in training for the show.
Those spotted jumping off the diving boards already include model Danielle O’Hara, Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna, Channel 5's Show host Pollyanna Woodward and Daybreak’s Showbiz reporter Anna Williamson.
A source told The Sun newspaper recently: “We’ve aimed to bag the sexiest line-up of any telly show ever.”
Others rumoured for the show include TOWIE's Gemma Collins, while Tom previously said he wanted to see Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding on the show.
Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards was crowned the first ever Splash! winner earlier this year, watched by a peak audience of 6.6 million viewers. The final drew an average audience of 5.6 million viewers/ a 25% share of viewing across the show, and was the most watched programme of the night.
The series averaged 5.4 million viewers across the run, making it the most watched new entertainment series on ITV since 2008.
