The wacky ITV series, which saw celebs taught how to dive before competing in a series of live shows, proved a surprise Saturday night hit earlier this year.
Over 6 million viewers tuned in, beating the latest series of BBC One's Let's Dance for Comic Relief.
ITV quickly picked up the format for second run, and Olympic hunk Tom is already looking for celebrities to sign up for the new show.
"[I'm] really excited. The first series did pretty well and I'm looking forward to doing it again, improving it and making it even better, and to see if we can get the viewing figures up even more," he said about the second series.
Speaking to DigitalSpy, Tom added: "Someone said to me a few months ago about how hilarious it would be to see Louis Walsh doing it, and ever since I've had an image of seeing Louis Walsh trying to dive off a board.
"He would be funny to try and teach how to dive! Louis Walsh in his Speedos!"
It'd certainly get us to tune in!
Meanwhile, Tom revealed he was hoping the show could lead to a new career on the telly.
Although even he realises that it will have to be something rather relaxed after Splash, saying: " I wouldn't want to do anything too serious. I'd want to do something more light-hearted and fun. I wouldn't want to take it too seriously, like news reading."
