Splash! continued to draw respectable ratings to ITV last night, with more than 5 million people tuning in to watch the semi-final show.

According to overnight data, it attracted an average of 5.11million (22.6%) viewers - including those who caught it on ITV+1 - and peaked with 5.7m (24.3%).

However, both figures were down around 300k on last week - while BBC One drama Casualty beat it to become yesterday's most watched programme overall.

The episode saw Linda Barker and Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards voted through to the final by the public - with the judges choosing Jake Canuso to join them after the Splash-off.

Meanwhile, Anthony Ogogo announced his withdrawal from the competition after his dive in last week's third heat caused a relapse of a previous injury in his achilles' tendon.

The series concludes on Saturday at 7.00pm on ITV1.
