Omid Djalili and Jake Canuso have made it through to the semi finals of ITV1's Splash.
Tonight’s first saw see actor Jake Canuso, comic Omid Djalili, Sugababe Jade Ewen, presenter Jenni Falconer and comedienne Helen Lederer don their swimwear and take to the diving boards as they tried to master one of sport’s most difficult disciplines on primetime TV.
Omid was left on top of the leaderboard with 23 points after the judges - Team GB’s Diving coach Andy Banks, comedienne, writer and actress Jo Brand and former Olympic diving medalist Leon Taylor - had their say, while Helen was bottom with 14 points out of a possible 30.
However the public then had their say, and the public votes were combined with the judges' marks.
With the highest combined score, Omid went straight through, while Jake and Jenny both had to dive again.
After both Jake and Jenny dived for a second time, the judges had to decide between them.
Andy voted for Jenny.
Jo voted for Jake.
With the casting vote, Leon voted for Jake.
As a result, Jake joined Omid in the semi finals in three weeks' time.
Next weekend's second heat will see glamour model Caprice, ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, TOWIE star Joey Essex, TV garden expert Diarmuid Gavin, and Sky Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson all diving.
