Mission Survive

Mission Survive 2016 with Bear Grylls is struggling in the ratings this year in its new Thursday slot.

The show launched earlier this month to 2.9 million viewers, down 300,000 on last year's debut series.

Last night's third show saw numbers drop to 2 million viewers, down 600,000 viewers on last year's equivalent episode which had seen a series low after going up against the Comic Relief telethon in its Friday night slot.

Wile the first run averaged over 3 million viewers the new series looks set to average closer to the 2 million mark with three episodes still to go.

Currently Les Miserables actress Samantha Barks, former Coronation Street actress Michelle Collins, choreographer and Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner and Arsenal and England Ladies footballer Alex Scott are all left standing.

In what as a generally quiet night on V, EastEnders was the most watched show with 6.3 million viewers.

On ITV2, a special live Celebrity Juice was seen by 1.1 million viewers, beaten in the digital channel ratings by The Big Bang Theory on E4 with 1.6 million.
