The reality regular made his name on Made In Chelsea on E4 but has recently appeared on both Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating.

He described the time as “two years of madness” and explained he wanted a rest.

Chatting to talkRadio, Sam said: “I want to relax for a little bit. It’s been two years of just madness. I have done so much.

“And I haven’t really given myself time to chill. And it has had a bit of an effect on my body.”

And he added: “I’ve been getting a bit ill recently, I’m stressed quite a lot in terms of I haven’t stopped, so I’ll probably settle down and have a little game.”

However, Sam’s break from TV won’t be forever.

He admitted there is one show he’d never be quitting.

“Made In Chelsea is my bread and butter and I love it to bits but other than that I would quite like to relax,” Sam said.

Made In Chelsea’s latest series wrapped up last night when Sam and new girlfriend Sophie Habboo shocked viewers with a steamy shower scene.

It followed his failed attempts to find love on Celebs Go Dating.

Sam had invited both two girls to Cape Verde for his final dates, but neither had a clue about the other until they turned up together.

He ended up deciding to date a girl called Emilia, however it didn’t last beyond the show.

Sam said: “I tried to be as honest as possible and told her I wasn’t ready to have a girlfriend as I’d just come out of an incredibly long relationship.”
