Made In Chelsea's Josh Patterson has opened up about battling anxiety.
The MiC regular spoke out on ITV's Good Morning Britain today as part of World Mental Health Day.
JP told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid how he has struggled with anxiety since being a teenager in school.
He recalled: "I went to a school doctor to talk about it but after I was diagnosed, it was like 'Be on your way'. There wasn't any support."
JP went on: "I remember looking at a piece of paper the doctor gave me and I ticked every symptom off it was that bad.
"But it was refreshing to see that list and know I was actually suffering with something. Although to be enduring all of those things at such a young age was scary."
JP said he hoped by speaking out alongside others that those suffering in silence will be able to seek out support.
"When someone like myself speaks out, people are so shocked," he explained. "They look on social media and see the kind of lifestyle you have, and they just can't believe you may have had issues behind closed doors.
"I still suffer from anxiety but speaking about it helps as does playing sport - that really helps my sanity."
