Amber won this year’s Love Island with partner Greg O’Shea. The pair split the £50,000 prize fund, walking out of the villa with £25,000 each.

However 2019 wasn’t the first time she was lined up for the show.

Amber has admitted she never applied for the series, instead being invited via Instagram.

In an Q&A on the social media website (via DigitalSpy), Amber told how she was first asked last year but said no as she had a boyfriend at the time.

Amber shared: “I didn’t actually apply to go in the villa, I got asked [via] Instagram. I did get asked the year before, but I had a boyfriend – but let’s not talk about him.”

She added of her appearance on this year’s show: “I got asked on Instagram and I thought, ‘Why the hell not? Let’s try it.'”

It’s all set to work out for Amber, who is reportedly set to become a millionaire by the end of the year.

Amber already has £25,000 in the bank from winning the show and now she’s lined up a string of TV appearances.

This week she’s set to join Loose Women as a guest panellist, with claims that it could lead to a regular gig.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “She is opinionated, outspoken and sassy – all the ingredients to be a perfect Loose Woman. Bosses are excited to see how it goes.”

Plus, it’s been reported that Amber is set to join the cast of Dancing On Ice

She’s rumoured to be the latest Love Island star to compete in the ice dancing competition, following Wes Nelson and Kem Cetinay.

According to The Sun newspaper, she’ll begin training later this year ahead of the show’s return to TV in the new year.
