Love Island's Camilla Thurlow gets her own TV show

Love Island 2017: Camilla

Just over a year on from her appearance in the Love Island villa, Camilla Thurlow will soon be back on TV.

She's landed her very own show on ITVBe, What Camilla Did Next.

Having emerged as the 'nation’s sweetheart' during her memorable stint on Love Island 2017, Camilla Thurlow is a woman on a mission.

ITV say of the upcoming programme: "Juggling stardom with a blossoming relationship, as well as her ongoing work to raise awareness of landmines, Camilla is going back in front of the cameras for the first time since Love Island to offer viewers an intimate glimpse into her hectic lifestyle which is not just aspirational but inspirational.

"Former humanitarian worker Camilla will also be going back to her roots as she embarks an emotional, empowering and exhausting journey back to Cambodia where she used to work for the mine clearance charity the HALO Trust.

"Embracing the challenges of the trip head on, Camilla must leave long term boyfriend Jamie, and the life they have together, behind to pursue her passion for charity work and making the world a safer place."

The show will follow the Love Island runner up as she grapples with her new found fame, documenting Camilla’s ongoing efforts to make the most of her celebrity and popularity to draw attention to a humanitarian cause she holds close to her heart.

What Camilla Did Next will also provide viewers with an insight into Camilla’s relationship with Jamie Jewitt, who she met in the villa last summer. Capturing the many quirks of the close knit relationship that viewers first followed vicariously when they met in the Love Island villa, are the perfect pairing more #couplegoals than ever?
