Dani Dyer has revealed she auditioned for BBC One's EastEnders.
The Love Island star is said to have been snubbed from the soap which stars her dad Danny Dyer.
Dani told the Daily Star on Sunday: "I don't know about EastEnders, they wouldn't let me in it.
"They won’t let me, and are like, ‘it ain’t going to happen.'
"I think it's because my dad is already on it so if I went on it there would be a massive outrage."
According to the tabloid, Dani turned to Love Island after the snub and becoming "sick" of working in a bar.
"She auditioned but was heartbroken when she didn’t get the part," a source spilled. “She was sick of bar work and was struggling to make it as an actress so decided to do reality TV.
"Dad Danny wasn’t too keen at first but even he’s admitted it was the perfect move for her.”
Despite the snub, Dani could still be about to follow in her dad's footsteps, according to bookies Ladbrokes.
After news of her previous audition, the bookies now make it just a 2/1 shot she appears on Albert Square at any stage in the next 12 months.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "She's hot property right now so we wouldn't be surprised if Dani Dyer appears alongside her dad on Eastenders in the near future."
It was Jack and Dani who won love Island 2018 last month with over 80% of the vote.
Rivals Laura & Paul were runners up, Josh & Kaz finished in third and Wes & Megan ended the series in 4th place.
The show will be back next summer for a fifth series.
