Love Island 2018 will see a new recoupling on Thursday night and this time the boys have the power.

The girls’ fate will be the hands of the guys as they pick who they want to couple up with.

It’s the first time in the recoupling for four newbies, who joined the villa on Sunday night.

They are Stephanie Lam, a 23-year-old Account Manager from Hertfordshire, Laura Crane, a 23-year-old Surfer from Devon, Paul Knops, a 31-year-old Carpenter and Model from Bournemouth, and Josh Mair a 21-year-old DJ from Birmingham.

Already the group have caused a stir, with Alex dropping Alexandra and Jack dumping ‘old Laura’ in order to flirt with the newcomers.

Elsewhere, Georgia and Sam will face the recoupling after being forced apart in a brutal twist on Monday night.

After the pair were voted into the bottom three couples by the public, host Caroline Flack revealed that they would have to decide whether to stay together and leave the villa, or split up to keep their places.

“You cannot stay on Love Island as a couple,” she said. “It’s a huge decision, it’s either split up and remain in the villa or stay together and leave. If you decide to split up, you can’t be with each other.

“If you decide to stay as a couple, you will leave immediately without returning to the villa.”

Georgia and Sam eventually decided to split up in order to stay on the show.

Meanwhile, in a further twist to proceedings, two Love Island contestants have reportedly QUIT the villa.

Who left Love Island hasn’t been revealed yet, with the scenes set to air during the recoupling.

But an insider told The Sun newspaper: “No one expected these two to leave and it is a massive shock.

“Their fellow islanders were stunned when they spoke about their reasons for quitting.

“It’s going to have a big effect on the show, it’s a huge bombshell, and they are going to be massively missed by their co-stars .”

Although the identity of the couple hasn’t been confirmed, fans think Georgia and Sam may have walked off together after being forced to split.
