Fresh from Ellie and Charlie's exit in Sunday night's show, host Caroline Flack dropped a new bombshell on the Islanders.
After they found themselves in the bottom three couples after the public vote, Georgia & Sam and Megan & Wes were still at risk of going home. The other Islanders had to pick one couple to save, choosing Megan and Wes.
Caroline then revealed to Georgia & Sam that they would have to decide whether to stay together and leave the villa, or split up and stay.
“You cannot stay on Love Island as a couple," she said. "It’s a huge decision, it’s either split up and remain in the villa or stay together and leave. If you decide to split up, you can’t be with each other.
"If you decide to stay as a couple, you will leave immediately without returning to the villa."
Georgia and Sam eventually decided to split up in order to stay on the show. The shock decision surprised the other Islanders, causing a big row.
Following their choice, the pair each dated two new Islanders but have since returned to one another.
Last night they were seen kissing on the sofas and in a preview of Wednesday's show, were again seen snogging.
Fans reckon the pair are in for a punishment - and could even be removed from the villa.
"Sam and Georgia should be removed for breaking the rules #loveisland," one wrote on Twitter.
"Okay so Georgia and Sam should be sent home as punishment for that," agreed a second.
A third added: "I can't wait til #loveisland dish out these punishments to Georgia & Sam for breaking the rules within 24 hours!"
Meanwhile, another suggested: "The islanders should have to pick either Sam or Georgia to leave, as punishment for breaking the rules. #LoveIsland2018"
Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
