Love Island 2018 spoiler: Dani Dyer faces off with Jack Fincham’s ex Ellie Jones
Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham’s ex Ellie Jones get to know one another on Love Island 2018 tonight.
Jack’s former partner Ellie joined the series over the weekend as part of the Casa Amor twist.
She was one of six new girls to join the original boys in the second villa.
Although Jack stayed loyal to Dani, Ellie has now joined the pair in the main villa as Sam Bird’s new partner.
In tonight’s show, in the Beach Hut, Ellie talks about living in the villa with Dani: “It is a little bit awkward but I think it is going to be. I couldn’t expect it not to be. I just hope that me and Dani can clear the air.
“I don’t expect to be best friends with her but I don’t want there to be a divide.”
Dani gets a text: “Dani and Ellie, you are going out for afternoon drinks. Please get ready to leave the villa. #CommonGround #TheExFiles”
At their drinks, Dani tells Ellie how she felt when she found out Jack was in Casa Amor with an ex: “It’s not the nicest situation to be in… I didn’t really know. Were you in here for Jack or..?”
Ellie shares her experience of being with Jack as Dani asks what he was like when they were together.
Ellie fills Dani in on her and Jack’s relationship: “We were on and off since 2016. I didn’t know he was coming on here.
“That’s what I had the hump about. He could have gone about things a little bit differently with me but he did apologise for that…
“I wouldn’t go back there. He didn’t make me that happy. I was a bit down about it in that situation… He wasn’t the best. He could have just done things a bit differently.”
Dani says: “All I want is honesty from him.”
Back in the villa, Grace, Laura and Darylle are speaking in the kitchen.
Laura says: “I wouldn’t mind being a fly on the wall with Dani and Ellie.”
Darylle says: “I feel like all that really needs to be established is Ellie’s incentive because I think that’s what Dani was stressing about, why she had come in here knowing her ex was going to be here.”
Meanwhile, Jack is worrying about what Ellie could be saying to Dani about him.
Jack says of Dani having to go for drinks with Ellie: “Nobody likes hearing things they don’t want to hear.”
In the Beach Hut, Jack says: “I am absolutely itching to find out what Ellie has been saying about me because I’m guessing I was topic of conversation… All I want to know is what Dani and Ellie spoke about.”
Later at the villa, Dani confronts Jack about some of the truths she found out from Ellie.
Dani tells him: “I didn’t realise you two were that intense. She said to me that you’ve been on and off for two years. This girl is sitting there telling me all this stuff about you. It’s not nice to hear. It made me worry a bit.”
