Love Island fans slam producers for ‘trying to split Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer up’

Love Island 2018 viewers have slammed producers for seemingly trying to split Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer up.

Chaos has rocked Love Island over the weekend when bosses brought back the devilish Casa Amor twist.

The islanders were split in two groups, with the men being sent off to the sneaky second villa.

Twelve fresh faces then arrived, putting the original couples’ relationships to the ultimate test.

In a further shock, one of the new girls turned out to be Jack Fincham’s real-life ex Ellie Jones.

Unbeknownst to each other, they have both stuck together, choosing to sleep outside rather than share beds with the newbies.

But producers have tried to stir up tension between the pair, last night sharing a video of Jack speaking to his ex.

Unaware of Jack’s true feelings, a devastated Dani broke down in tears and promptly dashed to the Beach Hut.

Viewers however have been unimpressed by the tactics and took to Twitter to hit out at show bosses.

One complained: “Nah love island has done dani and jack dirty. Like I get it’s a show but I’m kinda vex the producers are playing it like that #LoveIsland”

Another wrote: “This is actually gaslighting @LoveIsland I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS. Why would you put Dani through this emotional turmoil? #LoveIsland”

And a third added: “Is it so hard to believe that the horrible stuff with Wes and Megan and Laura and now Josh and Georgia that viewers might actually ENJOY a #LoveIsland love story instead of being forced to watch Dani break into tears because of a clip edited to play on her insecurities?”

“How can the producers of Love Island sleep at night knowing they are messing with the cutest couple ever on Love Island!” a fourth declared.

Tonight the two villa twist will come to an end as the original Islanders take part in a recoupling.

They’ll have to decide if they want to couple up with their original partner or one of the newbies.

Love Island airs at 9PM on ITV2.
