Megan Barton Hanson and Laura Anderson attempt to clear the air on Love Island 2018.
The pair have had a big falling out ever since Laura's partner Wes Nelson ditched her for Megan.
In tonight's show, having declared their friendship over 24 hours ago, Laura appears to begin to have a change of heart with Megan.
Sharing her thoughts on the situation with the other girls, Laura says: “I’ve looked at her three times this morning, I feel like that’s progress. I genuinely, actually feel like I do see her and Wes together. And I don’t want to stop that from happening because deep down I know that me and Wes weren’t right for each other.
"She’s really shy, he’s really loud. She probably calms him down. Even though it killed me and it does a bit, I can’t stop people from being happy.”
Later grabbing Megan for a chat on the terrace, Laura begins: “I just thought we should have a chat. I was in bed last night and I was thinking about everything. I don’t want to be bitter and jealous.
"I know it’s still early days, I know I’ve got every right to be feeling a bit uncomfortable and things like that. It was a quick turnover. But I was annoyed at him. I wasn’t actually annoyed at you. A guy can’t go unless he wants to go. I didn’t blame you, I did blame him.”
Optimistic about her future in the villa, Laura continues: “The boys aren’t here today. I just want to be friends with you and go back to the way it is. It will be easier if some other guy came in here who could distract me and hopefully today that could happen. So let’s just be friends.”
Will Megan agree to put their differences behind them?
Love Island 2018 airs tonight at 9PM On ITV2.
