Love Island star Eyal Booker has admitted he was left "raging" by Megan Barton Hanson's decision to ditch him in favour of Wes Nelson.

Megan has sent shockwaves through the villa by confessing her attraction to Wes, having realised she's "not compatible" with Eyal.

Tonight's episode of the ITV2 show features the full fallout from her bombshell break-up.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, she laments: "I want to find someone that I really, really click with.

"It’s horrible when you see other couples having a laugh and getting on and you think, 'I just want that'."

Later, Megan takes Eyal aside to explain why she wants to call it quits.

"I’ve always worried that it’s more of a physical/sexual attraction," she tells him. "Then earlier when you were like 'we should have more fun'.

"I’m into you, but it’s more of a physical thing, don’t you think? After we’ve done stuff, there’s not much to say or do.

"It just rung alarm bells when Sam and Samira were having more of a laugh in bed than we were."

The unexpected turn of events naturally leaves Eyal frustrated, venting his feelings to the rest of the group.

"I’m raging a little bit, because obviously I put effort into it and I don’t think it should be disregarded that quickly," he confesses.

"Yeah, there might be elements missing from our relationship, but we can try and work to at least see if they’re there, you know."

Eyal then resigns himself to his fate during his own visit to the Beach Hut.

"I feel like her mind is made up and I’m not going to try anymore," he says.

"I’m not here to force someone to like me, or to like the things about me that I’d like someone to like."

Meanwhile, Megan explains her growing feelings for Wes, who's currently coupled up with Laura Anderson.

"I really get on with Wes. Out of all the boys, he’s someone I really can talk to," she comments.

"I feel like I can be really geeky and silly in front of him. I can just be myself."

Love Island continues tonight at 9.00pm on ITV2.
