Love Island 2018 already has a favourite couple - even before the series begin.
This week saw the first Love Island contestants revealed and already there are apparently some clear favourites.
With the nation set for another season of smash hit Love Island to hit television screens, bookmakers have predicted who they think will be top male and female.
Leading the charge for the ladies is Dani Dyer, daughter of TV hard man, who bookies predict will woo audiences and leave the villa victorious.
Elsewhere, Hayley Hughes (3/1) is second favourite to win over the nation, followed by Kendall Rae-Knight (4/1), Laura Anderson (8/1) and Samira Mighty (8/1).
For the men, Dr Alex George is the early joint leading contender to come out of the show as top male, with the Welsh A&E medic the early favourite with bookies.
Alongside Alex, also in the running for top bloke is the quirky Eyal Booker (9/2), followed by the trio of Adam Collard (5/1), Jack Fincham (5/1), Niall Aslam (5/1) and Wes Nelson (5/1) who are all the same price.
So, according to bookmakers Dani and Alex are the couple predicted to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winners, Kem and Amber.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Dani is of course the daughter of EastEnders star, Danny and has previously appeared on Survival of the Fittest, in which she quit after sustaining a leg injury.
“Alex is an A&E doctor and will be swapping the hospital for the grafting the girls of the Love Island villa, and is the joint favourite alongside Eyal to be top boy.
“Whether either of them are each other’s type on paper is anyone’s guess, however.”
