Amber Davies has said she wants to star in a soap following Love Island.
Amber won Series 3 of ITV2's Love Island last summer with then boyfriend Kem Cetinay.
After almost six months together, the couple called it a day last month just before Christmas.
“With sadness, we’ve decided to separate," they said in a joint statement. “We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.
"Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”
Now Amber is looking to bounce back from the break up and focus on her career.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine today, Amber said: "I'd love to go into a soap. I'd like to use my talent and passion and have a long nice future in what I want to do.
"I'll always be grateful as it gave me that platform but I'm trying to work as hard as I possibly can."
Meanwhile, Amber said she wouldn't rule out a reunion with Kem.
She said: "I'm not ruling anything out for the future, we both need to concentrate on our careers.
"We both - well I need to grow up a bit before I commit to anything too serious.
"But I'll always have a place in my heart for him."
Discussing Kem's debut appearance on Dancing On Ice, Amber added: "I was probably more nervous than he was, I was like 'Kem please don't fall' but I thought he was brilliant. I was so impressed."
