Love Island’s Jess and Dom reveal wedding and baby plans

Engaged Love Island couple Dominic Lever and Jessica Shears have revealed their wedding plans.

The pair last week announced the news they were planning to be married.

“It happened the night before the TV Choice Awards,” Jess said. “We were staying in a lovely apartment in London. Dom filled it with flowers and had got us a bottle of champagne.

“I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when Dom got down on one knee – he said afterwards that he had never seen me smile like that!”

The couple got together on Love Island back in June before they were eliminated half way through the series at separate times.

There were rumours of a fling between Jess and fellow contestant Mike Thalassitis while Dom was still in the villa but the couple have remained together.

Now the couple have spilled on their plans for the wedding, which are seemingly already far along.

“We’re thinking next summer. I’ve been think about my wedding day since I was a little girl so I’ve got loads of ideas,” Jess told OK! Magazine.

Jess explained she wanted a “fishtail dress with lots of beading” to get “married at sunset” before enjoying a “big booze up”.

“We’d like it abroad, either in the south of France or somewhere like Greece like Santorini,” Jess added. “We don’t want a big wedding, I only want our close family and friends there because, to me, that is what your wedding day is about.”

A more laid back Dom told the magazine: “Wedding planning is going to be a breeze for me, I’ll just kick back and let Jess take the reigns.”

Meanwhile, it’s not just a wedding that Jess and Dom are planning for.

Jess said: “We’re desperate for kids. I don’t think we’ll wait too long after we get married to star trying.”
