Here's all the latest news and spoilers from Love Island 2017 over the past 24 hours.

It was Tyla Carr and Mike Thalassitis who left Love Island in last night's show following a public vote.

In the latest episode, Alex got a text: “Islanders please gather around the fire pit immediately”

Montana then got a message: “Islanders, the public have been voting for their favourite couple. The couple with the fewest votes will be dumped from the island tonight.”

A string of text messages then revealed the couples who were safe in no particular order until only Tyla & Mike and Olivia & Chris remained.

It was then down to Kem to deliver the news that Tyla and Mike had received the fewest votes and were leaving the villa.

Speaking after his exit, Mike said of his an Tyla's potential future together: "Obviously we don’t know each other that well, we’ve only known each other a short amount of time, but we’ve had a laugh, and I’m attracted to her so… yeah we’ll see what happens.”

The eviction was followed by a teaser at the end of last night's episode which saw the remaining contestants being put through the lie detector task, returning from last year's series.

Fans were super exited by the news with one reacting: "I can't wait for the lie detector tomorrow! #LoveIsland"

Another posted to Twitter: "Just when you think #loveisland cannot get more savage..... they bring out the lie detector! 🙈🙊👏🏻🙌🏻"

A third added: "MATE, that lie detector is going to be BRUTAL GOLD 🙌🏾🙌🏾😂 #loveisland"

However some were unhappy that the lie detector task comes after Mike was evicted from the villa in last night's show.

"They get rid of Mike and then bring in a lie detector??? Could've found out the truth about Jess #LoveIsland" one posted.

Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
