Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville reveal their reasons for not having sex on Love Island 2017.

The boyfriend and girlfriend have yet to get intimate with one another, but there is a reason.

In tonight's show, Gabby tells Camilla that she and Marcel are sticking to their pact of waiting until they leave the villa.

Camilla says: “The reason he still makes the moves on you is because, can you imagine if he didn’t, you’d be asking has the spark gone? Do you not fancy me anymore? It’s so that the build-up keeps happening.”

In the Beach Hut, Gabby opens up: “Me and Marce are where we are already without having sex. It speaks volumes. I’ve never been in this situation before, been in a relationship for a month and a half without doing the deed.

"I just think because we have such deep feelings without having sex means so much and it almost means more. I feel like we got to know each other in a different way and we’ve actually fallen in love with each other before having sex. I feel like an old traditional couple.”

In the Beach Hut, Marcel speaks about him and Gabby: “Me and Gabs made a pact with each other… It’s not really bothering me hearing the others having sex because I’ve had a lot of sex in my lifetime, I can go a little while without having to do the deed. When it comes down to doing the deed with Gabby, it’s going to get freaky,” he jokes.

However, their pact has meant that some viewers doubt the relationship.

In tonight's show, Mike gets a text: “Islanders, it’s time to find out what Twitter is saying in today’s challenge, Bang On Trend #tweetasanut #tweetnsour”

The Islanders are split into two teams. Georgia and Sam host the game and read a tweet out with Islanders’ names blanked out. The teams race against each other to pump up a balloon until it pops. Whichever team pops their balloon first gets to guess which Islanders each tweet is about.

The first tweets read: “XXX and XXX are in one fake relationship, I’m not buying it one bit” and “Am I the only one who’s not convinced on XXX feelings for XXX? Seems so fake”

The Islanders are shocked to hear the couple that the tweet is about is Gabby and Marcel.

In the Beach Hut later, Gabby says: “I’d deserve an Oscar if I was faking it. I know that me and Marcel are rock solid so think what you like love.”

Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
