Love Island 2017: Boys challenged to cook lunch for their ladies

Love Island 2017: Boys making lunch.

The guys cook lunch for the girls in Love Island 2017 tonight before enjoying a date with their partners.

It all begins when Chris gets a text: “Boys, today you will put your culinary skills to the test as you cook lunch for your ladies. #toomanycooks #ifyoucantstandtheheat”

In the Beach Hut, Chris explains the role he will take in the kitchen: “I will be Kitchen Manager today.

So I won’t be getting my hands dirty, I won’t be chopping up stuff or washing anything up because I believe I’m worth more than that.”

Meanwhile, Jamie reacts to the challenge news: “I’m interested to see how this goes. I think it’s going to be absolute carnage.”

The boys then line up in the kitchen as Chris does a speech: “I’d like to introduce myself, my name is KOM – Kitchen Operation Manager. What you need to learn at the Palm Tree Restaurant is, my word is final,” he jokes.

The boys decide to cook burgers for the girls and after some tests… they succeed. The couples all enjoy their lunches at tables set for two.

Sam asks Georgia if this counts as their first date. Georgia admits she is starting to like him: “I think you fancied me more when you first came in but I think the tables might be turning.”

Meanwhile, Alex is wondering what his mum might think of Montana.

“I’m intrigued to see what my mum would say about you,” he tells her, “Obviously she watched it before I came in here and she had a bit of an opinion...”

“Oh no, she thought I was stuck up? Oh dear!” Montana cringes.

Love Island 2017 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
