Love Island 2017 contestant Theo Campbell's ex girlfriend has accused him of dumping her for the show.
Theo, who has been causing a load of drama in the villa, reportedly split from his partner just days before entering.
She has since shared text messages on social media suggesting that he is only on the show for the cash.
“I just want you to wait for me," Theo allegedly writes in the messages. “I’m only going for the payday.
“Relax it will be funny.
“I’m not looking to “love” am I”.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, a source said: “[Theo's ex] is furious as she revealed to Theo months ago that TV producers had been asking her to join the new series but she turned them down because she was in a relationship.
“She sees this as the ultimate betrayal."
The insider explained: “He ended the relationship just two and a half weeks before entering the villa.
“The most hilarious part is that in breaking the news to her he had the actual cheek to tell her that he was only doing it because he wanted the appearance fee.
“He said that he wasn’t making any money from British athletics and that if he had £100,000 then things would be different and they would still be together.”
The winner of Love Island could get up to £50,000 in prize money although the most popular contestants can make much more from magazine photoshoots and brand deals following their exits.
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
