Love Island's Jessica Shears has spoken out after leaving the villa in tonight's results.
Jess left the show tonight in a shock double exit alongside Mike Thalassitis.
Despite an emotional goodbye, Dominic Lever decided to stay in the villa unlike some of the guys in past series who have quit with their partners.
Jess says she didn't mind Dom's decision to stay, insisting: "I would like to see Dom enjoy Summer and last the whole time. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him.
"I want him to have an amazing Summer and wouldn’t want his experience shortened by me leaving. Obviously I hope we still have a connection when he leaves but I said to him and Liv ‘don’t let me see you too soon.’"
She continued: "I’m fairly confident although when I left I said, ‘You have known me three weeks, you have a long summer ahead of you.’
"He tried to promise me he would stay committed but honestly I adore the boy and want him to have an amazing summer with or without me.
"If he finds someone else who is amazing, so be it, I just hope that she is lovely and treats him right."
Meanwhile, on having sex with Dom on TV, Jess had no regrets: “My night in The Hideaway was incredible. It was the best time and I had an amazing birthday.
"I never imagined I would feel happy or confident enough to have sex on the show but Dom changed that.
“I felt so comfortable with him. I don’t regret it. If I had been in there longer we would have had sex again.”
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm tomorrow. Jess will appear on Love Island: Aftersun this Sunday at 10pm on ITV2.
