Camilla Thurlow and Jonny Mitchell enjoyed a first kiss on tonight's Love Island 2017.
It followed Camilla's decision to couple up with Jonny on Friday night, sending Harley Judge home in the first recoupling of the series.
Reflecting on Harley’s departure, a tearful Camilla admitted in the villa over the weekend: “Without Harley the villa for me is just going to be a much harder place to be, but he really kindly said when he left to just keep going and I’ll definitely keep that in mind and try and do it justice.”
While some of the islanders were surprised Camilla had chosen a new arrival over Harley, Amber had definitely spotted a chemistry between the pair: "You know what? Strong contenders, I think. You watch Camilla and Jonny. I’ve got my eye on them.”
The following morning provided the perfect opportunity for Camilla and Jonny to bond further when all of the couples were rewarded with a surprise breakfast in the garden.
As the conversation flowed freely between the pair, Camilla later gushed in the Beach Hut: “Breakfast was lovely actually. Really, really nice. And it was good to chat with Jonny and just get to know him a little bit more. It’s good to see how much we really have got in common.
"I feel happy when I’m talking to him. Last night obviously was hard but I feel like today will hopefully be fresh start.”
But in a chat with the girls, Camilla revealed she wasn't completely sure of her feelings for Jonny just yet.
Olivia asked rather bluntly: “If at this point he went to stick it on you, would you kiss him back?”
Camilla replied: “No. For me, it’s too soon.”
However with the Islanders deciding to spend the night playing a game of dares, Camilla quickly went back on those words as she and Jonny locked lips.
Love Island 2017 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
