Katie Salmon could be back in the Love Island villa this year.
Rumour has it that Katie - who was a late arrival on last year's show - is in talks to join the 2017 cast from the start.
During her stay in the villa last year, Katie had a fling with Sophie Gradon before finally coupling up with Adam Maxted.
Arguably the weakest couple, Katie and Adam split shortly after the final. Days, in fact. It clearly was never meant to be.
Adam tweeted back in July last year: “It’s like when you’re eating a kebab after a night out & the first few bites taste good but then u realise that it really isn’t nice at all!”
Katie then hit back with her own metaphor: “It’s like getting socks at Christmas. Practical but no fun.”
Now The Sun newspaper reports that Katie could be heading back to the Love Island villa for this summer's show.
“Katie was only in the house for five minutes but was caught up in two of the most dramatic twists in the entire series," a source spilled.
They told the tabloid: “It’s no secret that ITV are hoping for more sex, drama and tensions this year, and they know that Katie would be the perfect instigator.
“She’s already spoken to producers who seem to want her to return to the Villa for the whole stint rather than arriving later than the others."
The insider added: "Boys AND girls need to watch out.”
As yet, ITV has not revealed the cast for Season 3 of Love Island.
The new series is expected to launch at the end of the month on ITV2.
