Caroline Flack is coming back to Love Island for its third series in 2017.
ITV2 confirmed following Monday night's final that the show would be returning next summer and Caroline is set to reprise her role as head of the villa.
A source said today: “Love Island has enjoyed incredible ratings and bringing Caroline back was a no-brainer.
“She’s great fun and has really appealed to the show’s young audience."
Love Island 2017 was announced just 5 minutes after the end of the current series following impressive viewing figures for this summer's show.
1.4 million viewers tuned in for the final, massive numbers for a digital channel and more than twice the figures last year achieved.
It's taken quite some time to get the show's format on point having originally aired back in 2005 and 2006.
Then featuring 'celebrities', Love Island was broadcast on the main ITV channel but was axed after just two runs to poor viewing figures.
This summer's show itself saw a number of tweaks and changes from last year's original new look which have undoubtedly worked to boost numbers.
