Love Island 2016 to air special 'Heading Home' show following the couples on the outside

Love Island 2018 start date, cast

It's the Love Island 2016 final tonight but it's not quite the end of the series.

ITV has announced today a new show, Love Island: Heading Home airing next Sunday 17th July at 9pm on ITV2

Dishing all the dirt on what happened when our Islanders got dumped from paradise, Love Island: Heading Home follows the contestants as they return to the UK….

Coming face to face for the first time since leaving the villa, what will happen when the Islanders are reunited at the series wrap party?

Will it be round two for Terry and Malin? Will Tom forgive Sophie’s dalliance with Katie? Who will be getting shapey on the dance floor and who will be left mugged off as the Islanders toast a summer of fun, frolics and feverish flirting.

Capturing all of the action and aftermath as each Islander packs their bags and jets back to the UK, Heading Home will feature exclusive interviews and reactions from the evicted Islanders and some of their nearest and dearest.

Find out what happened when Rykard found himself questioned on his evening with Olivia…by Rachel’s mother. How did Malin really react when she saw Terry getting cosy with Emma for the first time? And what did Tom say when he watched Sophie and Katie getting close? Plus, what did Tom’s grand parents have to say about his racy wardrobe antics with Sophie?

Voiced by Love Island's now legendary narrator Iain Sterling, Love Island: Heading Home spills all the beans from a summer these Islanders will never forget…
