Emma-Jane Woodham has taken Terry Walsh has taken aim at Malin Andersson after she and Terry Walsh were evicted from Love Island 2016 this evening.

The pair were one of two couples who got the chop after poll the fewest votes in the overnight public poll.

After being voted out, Emma and Terry sat down with host Caroline Flack to talk about their experience of life in the villa.

Terry told Caroline: “I’ve had such a good journey. I’m leaving here a bigger and better person. It’s had its highs and its lows but all in all it’s been amazing.”

Caroline asked the couple why they thought the public didn’t save them.

Emma replied: “All the couples [left] in there are so strong and they’ve got such a bond, I don’t feel bad that we’ve come out.”

Caroline then asked Terry if he understood why Malin had been upset when she’d returned to dramatically confront him.

Terry said: “I can understand, 100%. But when she walked in, I felt like we could have spoken about it like adults. What can I do? I’m in a villa where I can’t ring her or text her. I said it more than once [when we were together] that she was acting like a child. I had to reassure her every day and there were so many little arguments that didn’t need to be there. I knew it wasn’t gonna be nice for her [seeing me with someone else] but I’m not going to stay with someone for the wrong reasons. I wanted to be with Emma. Life goes on.”

Caroline told Terry: “What viewers were most surprised with was that you just didn’t say sorry. Why didn’t you?”

Terry replied: “I can’t remember to be honest, it was so heated.”

Caroline asked: “Are you sorry?”

Terry answered: “Yeah, of course I am.”

Terry continued: “Did they show her saying that I’m a snake and ‘Wait till you get on the outside?’”

Realising that viewers had seen that, Terry explained: “That’s why I’m not apologising to her, I’m not going to apologise to someone who calls me fake.”

Emma interjected: “I’m sure Malin will look back at that and be like ‘Oh my god, why did I act like that? Who looks like the d***head? Her. You kept telling her she acted like a child when she was in here, then she was given her chance to redeem herself and what did she do? She acted like a child again.”

Caroline told Emma: “I spend my whole life avoiding ex boyfriends. Tell me honestly, why did you go into the villa?”

Emma said: “For the experience. I knew I wasn’t there for Tom, I was there for the experience. Bottom line, there were no intentions with Tom.”

Caroline asked: “Was there an element of revenge?”

Emma said: “Yeah, when me and Tom split up I warned him ‘Don’t f*** me about’, I’m not a piece on a chess board that you’re playing’. We were back in contact before he came here. He’d set up his relationship with Sophie and me walking in was a big bombshell.”

Caroline then asked the couple about their sleeping with one another on top of the covers.

Terry reacted: “No one understands – there’s a lot of sex going on in there, regardless of being on top of the covers or under, it goes on.”

Emma added: “That was the bombshell. Tom and Sophie were opposite us. I think everyone was like ‘Oh, she’s not here for Tom. She and Terry are getting on just fine’.”

Terry continued: “No one expected us to have sex. One thing led to another and it just happens.”

Discussing their future, Terry told Caroline: “I’m not putting any pressure on it at all. I’m happy with Emma and we’ll just continue doing what we’re doing.”

Love Island continues nightly on ITV2 with the live final on Monday evening.
