Adam Maxted makes a move on Katie Salmon tonight after splitting up with Sophie Gradon.
With the girls calling their coupling a day, Adam took the opportunity to ask Katie what she thought of the situation she was now in.
Adam told Katie: “Obviously we were getting on well and I’m attracted to you. I heard from some people that you wanted to get to know me as well and that there’s an attraction.”
Katie replied: “I just didn’t want you to think you’re the second option. I completely did not know who I was going to pick. It was a hard decision, because that was so different, it was an exciting feeling for me. Obviously that failed.
"I don’t want you to think that because my first plan failed that I’m jumping to my second, because I genuinely said from the start that I liked you both. You do make me laugh, I find you very funny.”
Meanwhile, new girl to the villa Lauren Whiteside has found herself friend-zoned by Adam Jukes.
She confessed: “I feel really that I’m in more of a friendship situation. I do fancy him but I can’t work him out, I don’t think he fancies me.”
Lauren decided to ask Adam J face to face, saying to him:: “How you feeling about us? I feel like you obviously got left with no choice but to go with me, so I don’t really know where I stand now.”
Adam J replied: “The date went really well. We do get on, but there’s no sexual attraction there. We get on personality, but going forward it’s best to enjoy the experience as friends. I don’t want to upset you.”
Lauren said: “That’s the vibe I was getting. I’m glad we cleared it up.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
