Emma-Jane Woodham and Sophie Gradon are seen going head to head on Love Island 2016 tonight.
Last night, Tom and Liana were dumped from the villa, leaving Sophie and Adam single.
And we saw Sophie and Emma have it out in the immediate aftermath after some blatant stirring from Olivia and Kady who told Emma what Sophie had been saying about her.
Emma angrily told Sophie: “You’ve been talking to everyone in this villa about me today, except me. It ain’t on. I’ve been nothing but nice to you and support you.”
Sophie defended herself, saying: “Yeah, but my opinion on the reasons behind you coming in, is my opinion.”
Emma's current partner Terry then joined in the argument, telling Sophie: “Don’t be friends with her then.”
Feeling like she was being ganged up on, Sophie stood up, saying: “Are you both gonna stand up and shout at me then? Are you both gonna come at me?”
In the Beach Hut, Emma explained her outburst: “As bad as I felt for Sophie with Tom going, I’ve got my own emotions.
"I was angry and I couldn’t bite my tongue anymore. I’m not a nasty person; I didn’t go over there throwing out nasty insults. I was purely dealing with the situation in hand.”
Later, Emma joined some of the other Islanders on the outside bed to apologise for her outburst.
Taking Emma’s side, Alex told her: “You ain’t gotta apologise for nothing. I don’t know what [Sophie] was like before but from what I’ve seen of her I just think she’s a malicious girl, I really do.”
Nathan suggested that Emma and Sophie needed some time alone together to talk things through, away from the rest of the villa but Emma insisted that she had nothing to say to Sophie.
“I don’t want to talk to her, I’ve said everything I wanna say. I don’t care to listen to anything she has to say," she said.
After an emotional evening, Sophie decided to clear the air with Emma and Terry and took them to one side individually to talk things through.
Agreeing to draw a line under their dispute, Emma told Sophie: “It’s late. I’m tired, you’re tired, and you’ve taken on some heavy news. We can just try and get some sleep now.”
Sophie then went to talk things through with Terry, who made a shock revelation.
"Tom, for some unknown reason, pulled me to the side and said ‘I’ve got no feelings for Sophie’. I walked away from it and I haven’t been able to talk to Tom since. I didn’t really get it, I didn’t really understand," he told Sophie.
Having had time to think about Terry’s comments, a sceptical Sophie explained in the Beach Hut that she would take it with a pinch of salt, saying: “I don’t know if I trust a lot of what comes out of Terry’s mouth, his mouth just seems to run away with him. That is just Terry I guess, I’ve just got to keep him at arm’s length. I’m not going to listen too much to what he said.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
